Accounting Manager

Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting in the Greater Sacramento Area. You will lead month- and year-end close processes, manage general ledger activities, and support budgeting and forecasting efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and the general ledger
• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Lead month- and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operations
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• Required Skills:
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, CMA, MBA a plus
