Accounting Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Hollister, California. Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice handling and payment tracking.

• Conduct monthly account reconciliations and address any discrepancies that arise.

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities by analyzing financial trends and data.

• Maintain detailed and organized financial records in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

• Collaborate with senior accounting staff on audits and tax filings to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Identify opportunities to enhance existing accounting processes and internal controls.

Qualifications

• • Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Experience in invoice processing and payment tracking. • Familiarity with general ledger accounting practices. • Ability to perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. • Knowledge of financial reporting and compliance standards. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Prior experience in the agricultural industry is a plus, but not required
