Starting rates are $45.49 – $61.78 for lecture and $38.67 – $52.55 for lab. Sick leave accrual is based on assignment hours.Selection Procedure

State Center Community College District (SCCCD) is one of the state's most respected learning institutions and one of the largest community colleges in the Valley. We serve the Central Valley region where approximately 1.7 million residents and 38 unified and high school districts in more than 5,743 square miles of urban and rural territory, including most of Fresno and Madera counties and portions of Kings and Tulare counties. Total District enrollment for 2022-23 was 57,341 students.
SCCCD is governed by a seven-member board of trustees who represent seven trustee areas.
SCCCD is a merit system district with over 3,080 faculty, classified professionals and managers. The full and part-time faculty are represented by the State Center Federation of teachers, while the majority of the classified professionals are represented by the California School Employees Association, and the sworn Police Officers and Police Sergeants are represented by the Police Officers Associations. The total operating budget for SCCCD in 2023-24 was $503.4 million.
The SCCCD Board of Trustees approved purchase of 1171 Fulton in March 2018 for $10.5 million, including a parking structure and is located at the southeast corner of Fulton & Fresno Street.
