What we offer Leaders:

• We accept up to twelve years of full time teaching experience in other school settings on the salary schedule (please see our salary schedule here: OUSD Salary Schedules Ranges - Oakland Unified School District)

Anyone serving as a Principal, Assistant Principal or central office certificated administrator in OUSD in 2026-27 needing to clear their Administrative Services credential is eligible for this tuition-free, job-embedded, individualized coaching program.
• In partnership with Rooted, Oakland Unified Educators have access to more affordable housing. 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, a California Commission on Teacher Credentialing issued Administrative Services Credential, must be eligible for employment in the US and pass a criminal background check
• Candidates must have three current professional references on file, including one from a previous supervisor
