What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking facility interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
- Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity records, while handling sensitive information professionally.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
