You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to members of the public, transit riders, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned public transportation facilities, stations, platforms, parking areas, offices, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing visitors, and help maintain orderly conditions at assigned government transportation locations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
