Employment Recruiter

The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing qualified candidates for a variety of positions. This role requires strong communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and a passion for helping people find meaningful employment opportunities. Key Responsibilities

● Source and recruit qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and community outreach

● Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit

● Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers

● Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and recruiting database

● Build relationships with local organizations, workforce agencies, and veteran employment programs

● Prepare and post job advertisements for open positions

● Verify employment eligibility, background information, and references when required

● Communicate professionally with applicants throughout the hiring process

● Assist with onboarding and orientation processes for new hires ● Meet recruiting goals and hiring deadlines

Qualifications

● High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

● Previous recruiting, staffing, customer service, HR, sales, or military leadership experience preferred

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills

● Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

● Basic computer proficiency, including Google Docs and email systems

● Professional appearance and demeanor

● Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism


Preferred Skills

● Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)

● Bilingual abilities are a plus ● Knowledge of employment laws and hiring practices
