Job Description

• Perform comprehensive diesel engine repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Maintain and service tractor-trailer units, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel engines.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components as needed.
• Troubleshoot air brake systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with other service technicians to address complex mechanical problems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair techniques and practices.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and equipment.
• Experience working with electrical systems in vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to work on industrial equipment and perform necessary repairs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications or training in diesel mechanics is a plus.
