Description

Air Aviation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support client projects on a part-time remote contract basis. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for applying engineering principles to assist in the design, development, and evaluation of mechanical systems and components, while ensuring compliance with client and company policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering analysis, modeling, and design for assigned projects.

  • Support the development, testing, and validation of mechanical systems, assemblies, and components.

  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and drawings as required.

  • Collaborate with client engineers, supervisors, and project teams to meet project objectives.

  • Provide technical support and recommendations to resolve design and performance issues.

  • Complete other duties as assigned by the client or Air Aviation supervisors.

 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience in mechanical design, analysis, or related engineering role.

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, or similar).

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage part-time workload effectively.

  • Must own a laptop and be able to work remotely.

  • Compliance with all Client and Air Aviation policies and procedures is required.

Air Aviation's Manufacturing department fabricates custom Wire Harness Assemblies, parts kits, and component panel assemblies for a variety of industries which includes, but is not limited to Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Industrial vehicles and equipment.



In addition to wire harness design, our engineering department can provide our clients with Project Management, Project Planning, Technical Publications, Engineering Consulting, Process Development, Troubleshooting, Design, Analysis and Certification services for aircraft modifications, Major Alterations and STC modification projects.
