About the Role:

The Plating Operator plays a crucial role in the durable goods manufacturing process by ensuring that metal components are coated with protective and decorative finishes. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining plating equipment, monitoring the plating process, and ensuring that all products meet quality standards. The operator will work closely with quality control teams to identify any defects and implement corrective actions as necessary. Additionally, the Plating Operator will be involved in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Ultimately, the success of this role contributes to the overall efficiency and quality of the manufacturing process, impacting customer satisfaction and product longevity.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or plating environment.
• Basic understanding of chemical safety and handling procedures.

• Experience with automated plating systems.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor plating equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to production schedules.
