CURRENT AIR GUARD MEMBERS ONLY Tour Description Qualified as an HH-60W Mission Co-Pilot. Performs Co Pilot duties assigned, conducts Aerial Reconnaissance, Aerial Observation, Hoist Operations, Heavy Sling Operations, and maintains total safety and control of the aircraft while on mission. Performs dedicated crew chief duties as assigned, conducts pre-flight, basic post-flight, and thru-flight inspections, executes ground servicing, launch, and recovery operations, and ensures the total safety, airworthiness, and mission readiness of the aircraft. Day-to-day duties include but are not limited to: coordinating with the operations group to ensure aircraft availability aligns with the mission and training schedule, coordinating with maintenance back-shops to expedite unscheduled repairs and scheduled inspections, and maintaining aircraft status and maintenance tracking calendars.
