Deputy Sheriff's provide services and protection to the public through performance of law enforcement duties. Incumbents are responsible for enforcing laws and preventing crime.  Deputy Sheriff's serve in numerous assignments including, patrol, investigations, marine patrol, coroner's office, civil, and resident deputy.
