Palm Desert Country Club is an 18 hole public golf course built in 1962. Assist the Director of Golf with all facets of the golf operation including tournament operations, merchandise, tee time management, men's and ladies' club days, individual lessons, all while providing the highest level of service to our guests.  The successful candidate must be a team player that is organized, creative, detail oriented and energetic, with excellent communication and time management skills and a strong work ethic. As a key member of the operations team, the Players Assistant is responsible for monitoring the pace of play on the course. In addition, the Players Assistant needs to provide guests high-quality customer service in a friendly and helpful manner. Maintains a professional appearance. Maintains a reasonable pace of play on the golf courses. Communicates with and assists the Pro Shop in keeping an accurate pace of play. Communicates with the Starter and Pro Shop about any pace of play concerns. Monitors course cleanliness. Assists Outside Staff Attendants as needed. Advises guests of course conditions, expected pace of play, local rules, and other golf-related issues. Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management. Performs other duties as assigned.
