Valley CAPS is looking for compassionate and motivated individuals to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact while helping participants build independence and life skills.
📌 Position: Part-Time Instructor
Schedule: ~28 hours/week (Monday–Friday) Location: Multiple sites (Modesto & surrounding areas)
💼 What You’ll Do:
Lead group activities in classroom settings (art, cooking, math, fitness, life skills)
Support participants in community-based activities (stores, parks, restaurants, etc.)
Assist with personal care (hygiene, feeding, daily support)
Develop and follow lesson plans based on individual needs
Track participant progress and maintain accurate documentation
Implement behavior support strategies and maintain a safe environment
