Performs dedicated crew chief duties as assigned, conducts pre-flight, basic post-flight, and thru-flight inspections, executes ground servicing, launch, and recovery operations, and ensures the total safety, airworthiness, and mission readiness of the aircraft. Day-to-day duties include but are not limited to: coordinating with the operations group to ensure aircraft availability aligns with the mission and training schedule, coordinating with maintenance back-shops to expedite unscheduled repairs and scheduled inspections, and maintaining aircraft status and maintenance tracking calendars.
