CDL Truck Driver- Tracy, CA, USA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Truck Driver to transport goods and materials over local, regional, or long-distance routes. The ideal candidate will operate commercial vehicles in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining high standards of customer service and delivery accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a tractor-trailer, box truck, or other commercial vehicle to transport goods.

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues before and after trips.

• Safely load, secure, and unload cargo.

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.

• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair records.

• Follow all applicable traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.

• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff.

• Ensure cargo is delivered in good condition and obtain proper documentation.

• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance (e.g., refueling, checking fluids and tires).

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

• Clean driving record and current DOT medical card.

• Proven experience as a truck driver (minimum 2 year preferred).

• Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.

• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.

• Capable of lifting up to [50-100 lbs], as needed.

• Manual dexterity and visual acuity for safe driving and cargo handling.
