As a Full Time SOC - Grave Shift Union Site in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatcher at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor alarm and access-control activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and emergency services. You will help maintain accurate records, support a welcoming environment, and use technology to keep operations moving smoothly. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, access-control activity, and/or service requests; prioritize and relay information to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and emergency-related calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift activity reports while communicating clearly with on-site personnel and management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property, building areas, and perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
