Job Summary 

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving residential homes within a military housing community. This role plays a critical part in providing safe, reliable, and well-maintained housing for active-duty service members and their families. Technicians are empowered to independently troubleshoot issues and complete repairs while adhering to safety, quality, and military installation standards.   

Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on residential homes, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and building systems 
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and system issues to determine appropriate repair solutions 
  • Respond to service requests and emergency maintenance calls in a timely and professional manner 
  • Conduct move-in, moveout, and routine home inspections to ensure quality standards are met 
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory using company systems 
  • Follow all safety protocols, OSHA requirements, and military installation regulations 
  • Communicate effectively with residents, supervisors, and team members to ensure excellent service delivery 
  • Assist with special projects, renovations, and community improvement initiatives as needed 

Qualifications

  • Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required
