Job Description

Processes arrest reports, enters information into the Area's Automated Information System and the Management Information System on a daily basis. Compiles information necessary for courts and Department Motor Vehicles statuses and records, crash reports, criminal histories, as required. Assists courts, District Attorneys, Area Court Officer, field officers, allied agencies, and the public, as needed. Processes Juvenile and Stat reports. Processes misdemeanor and felony cases for crimes on State property. Prepares CHP 735A, Case Log- DUI Cost Recovery Program and DS 367, Administrative Per Se - Suspension/Revocation Order and Temporary Driver License forms. Sends copies of vehicle theft in-custody reports to Border Division Vehicle Theft Unit. Print the arrest log for public purchase, weekly. Maintains completed file of felony and misdemeanor cases. Maintains log for all criminal history requests and requires justifications. Maintains Area's inventory of Arrest report forms. Processes the CHP 202D, Consent Search, forms. Handles all Public Records Act requests from the public and ensure policy and procedure are followed.

Qualifications

  • The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
  • The position(s) require(s) a(n) Typing Certificate. You will be required to provide a copy of your certificate prior to being hired.
