Classification: MAINTENANCE WORKER, DEPARTMENT OF THE CALIF. HIGHWAY PATROL
Cleans exterior of all buildings on the property, including the parking lot areas, sidewalks, fuel bays and parking garage. Water and maintain ornamental plantings in and around building and parking areas. Empty outdoor trash cans, perform routine maintenance and repairs and maintain landscape of the area office and surrounding grounds. Assist the Automotive Technician II with minor automotive adjustments, repairs and maintenance. Deliver and pick up vehicles for service at authorized vendors; maintain inventories of automotive supplies; clean interior and wash motor vehicles; inspect, remove, rotate, mount, balance tires, inventory and stack tires on shelves; replenish/reload fire extinguishers; fuel vehicles as necessary; perform other automotive/ fleet duties, as required.
