Job Description

The Product Launch Manager will be part of our energy engineering teams responsible for delivering end-to-end hardware products and services to support Tesla Energy and Charging across APAC and China markets. This role focuses on charging hardware and ensures alignment between technical execution, market needs, and operational scalability.

We are seeking someone passionate about solving the climate problem to lead commercial charging product launches. The ideal candidate combines hardware/firmware/software fluency, compliance and regulatory expertise, and the ability to balance country-specific requirements with engineering priorities and customer experience. You'll work across design engineering, software/firmware, compliance, manufacturing, sales, deployment teams, and external stakeholders including fleet operators, charging network operators, and government agencies. The Role

  • Define and execute Go-To-Market plans for new commercial charging products, hardware variants, features, and services across APAC and China markets
  • Drive hardware product strategy and long-term roadmaps for APAC, translating regional business priorities and fleet electrification trends into technical requirements
  • Ensure engineering technical requirements align with business case, GTM strategy, deployment realities, and operational scalability
  • Lead product localization including certifications (CCC, GB/T compliance), software adaptations, and charging standards alignment (CCS, CHAdeMO, GB/T)
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts on regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring translation into product design at the right time
  • Own internal engineering pilots and ensure learnings are incorporated into product requirements and roadmap decisions
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks to launch timelines, including regulatory delays, supply chain constraints, and market readiness
