The Digital Experience team is transforming how people purchase and interact with automotive and energy products and services. Our team comprises product engineers, business analysts, UX designers, and full-stack software engineers working together to create seamless solutions to complex problems.

We are seeking a Product Engineer to join our Discovery team. In this role you’ll focus on the interactive digital and retail experiences that educate and engage our customers so they can learn about and interact with our Tesla vehicles and products.

The Role

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Develop a product roadmap, write user stories, prioritize, and drive execution of software development cycles in a highly agile environment and continually shifting priorities
  • Deeply understand users and to identify opportunities to improve their experience
  • Define, monitor and analyze key metrics to evaluate performance and change course as needed
  • Communicate impact of team’s efforts with business teams in order to build consensus and drive outcomes
  • Work with engineering teams to deliver a scalable architecture that not just meets current needs but considers future growth scenarios
  • Analyze product performance through logs and other data sources to assist in troubleshooting and enhancing our products
  • Manage and communicate dependencies with other teams

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of working experience working with software development teams
  • Knowledge of product principles, scrum, and agile methodology
