Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for an experienced attorney to join a dynamic and established law firm in Sacramento, California. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in municipal law and a passion for both transactional and litigation work. Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on compliance with municipal laws, including the Brown Act, Conflicts of Interest, and Public Records Act.

• Draft and review contracts related to construction and other regulated industries, ensuring adherence to legal standards.

• Represent clients in litigation matters, particularly those involving construction law and contracting disputes.

• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare persuasive written arguments and oral presentations.

• Collaborate with clients to build trust and instill confidence in the legal counsel provided.

• Work independently to manage multiple cases while maintaining high-quality legal output.

• Provide guidance on open government practices and regulations to ensure transparency.

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and expertise.

Qualifications

• • A minimum of 3 years of experience practicing general municipal law. • Proven expertise in open government laws, including the Brown Act and Public Records Act. • Familiarity with construction law and contracting processes is highly desirable. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively. • Demonstrated experience in litigation and transactional legal matters. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client confidence
