Litigation Paralegal

A 12-attorney firm in the heart of Downtown San Diego looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy practice.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse litigation docket that includes business, real estate, healthcare, probate, and data privacy matters.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day paralegal support for litigated matters involving commercial, real estate, healthcare, probate, and cybersecurity-related cases.

• Draft, organize, and manage written discovery, including preparing responses, coordinating production, and maintaining accuracy across case files.

• Handle document collection and production for eDiscovery.

• Manage subpoena preparation and responses.

• Assist attorneys with deposition logistics, exhibit organization, summaries, and witness materials.

• Prepare for trial multiple times per year.

• Track billable work (100 hours per month)

Qualifications

• • At least 5 years of experience in litigation paralegal work, preferably in a defense-side law firm environment
• • Bachelor's degree and/orparalegal certificate,
• • Strong working knowledge of discovery procedures, civil litigation support, and trial preparation
• • Demonstrated experience with eDiscovery processes, document review, and production management
• • Ability to commute to downtown San Diego most days
