The firm continues to experience steady growth and is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support a busy team of attorneys handling sophisticated litigation matters in state and federal courts.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys handling commercial and employment litigation matters
• Prepare, revise, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
• E-file documents in California State and Federal Courts
• Maintain attorney calendars and track litigation deadlines
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and client meetings
• Prepare TOAs, TOCs, exhibits, and litigation binders
• Manage case files and document organization
• Assist with trial preparation and related litigation support

Qualifications

• 7+ years of litigation legal assistant experience
• Strong experience with both California State and Federal Court procedures
• Advanced e-filing experience in state and federal courts
• Experience supporting commercial litigation, employment litigation, or other complex civil litigation matters
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and litigation support software
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Qualifications

• • At least 7 years of legal support experience, with substantial hands-on background in civil litigation
• • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures in both state and federal courts
• • Demonstrated experience with e-filing, court submissions, and deadline-driven calendaring
• • Proficiency with legal document production, including advanced Microsoft Word formatting and table of authorities preparation
• • Familiarity with document management systems such as NetDocuments or similar legal file platforms
• • Ability to support multiple attorneys at once while staying organized, responsive, and attentive to detail
• • Strong communication skills and a confident, composed approach when working with attorneys, clients, and court personnel
