POSITION SUMMARY

The California Army National Guard is accepting applications for an Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Supply NCO position with HHC, Combat Aviation Brigade (ECAB) in Fresno, California.

The Supply NCO is responsible for unit property accountability, supply operations, equipment readiness, OCIE management, inventories, maintenance coordination, and mobilization readiness.

WHO MAY APPLY

This position is open statewide to current members of the California Army National Guard in the grades of:

E4(P) – E5

Applicants must have the potential to become 92Y MOS qualified within 12 months of the hire date.

E4 applicants must be on a current E5 Enlisted Promotion List (EPL) to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain accountability of unit property and sub-hand receipts.
• Support and maintain the unit maintenance program.
• Request, receive, exchange, issue, recover, and turn in personnel clothing.
• Maintain accountability and serviceability records for Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE).
• Ensure monthly sensitive-item and cyclic inventories are completed and maintained.
• Assist with maintaining Class IX registers.
• Track unit Operational Readiness (OR) ratings and vehicle status.
• Support the Commander's supply accountability and mobilization-readiness objectives.
• Operate GCSS-Army for logistics and supply functions.
• Operate Soldier Equipment & Asset Management (SEAM) at the brigade level.
• Support required inventory and equipment fielding requirements.
• Attend required MOSQ, ASI, NGPEC, and Joint Forces Headquarters training.
• Support the Unit Environmental Compliance Officer (UECO) program.
• Maintain compliance with hazardous-material handling, storage, and disposal requirements.
• Work with the BN S4 NCOIC/OIC during CSDP and OIP inspections.
• Assist the Commander with supply discipline requirements.
• Ensure Class I chow requests and reports are completed and submitted.

15. Brigade Command Concurrence for AGR Soldiers with less than three years in their current assignment

Letters of Recommendation are Board/Optional.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must:

• Possess a SECRET security clearance.
• Meet Army body composition and medical retention standards.
• Have a current passing Army Fitness Test.
• Possess the appropriate military education for grade.
• Not be flagged or in a Medical Non-Deployable status.
• Meet applicable AGR eligibility requirements.
• Have no disqualifying disciplinary or integrity issues.
• Complete the UECO course within 12 months of assignment and required HAZCOM training thereafter.

QUALIFYING ASVAB SCORE

Minimum CL score: 90
