POSITION SUMMARY

The California Army National Guard is accepting applications for an Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Senior Disbursing Analyst / Readiness NCO position with the 251st Finance Company in Pomona, California.

The Readiness NCO serves as the Company Commander's representative for training, personnel, supply, logistics, and administrative matters. The position supports overall unit readiness and mobilization while managing training requirements, personnel actions, supply accountability, and operational reporting.


WHO MAY APPLY

This position is open statewide to current members of the California Army National Guard in the grades of:

E4(P) – E6

Applicants must be able to become 36B MOS qualified within 12 months of the hire date.

Important: E4 applicants must be on a current E5 Enlisted Promotion List (EPL) to apply.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the Company Commander's representative for training, personnel, and supply matters.
  • Advise the Commander on training, logistics, personnel, and mobilization readiness.
  • Develop and maintain mobilization plans, vehicle load plans, unit movement plans, and convoy clearance requests.
  • Prepare and submit readiness reports.
  • Monitor Equipment on Hand (EOH) and Equipment Readiness (ER).
  • Manage training planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Maintain access to and utilize ATIS, DTS, MOBCOP, DAMPS, and ATRRS.
  • Conduct training-site visits to verify range and equipment availability.
  • Manage unit MOS qualification training and associated training support materials.
  • Prepare memorandums, transmittal letters, USR/Feeder reports, and logistics reports.
  • Manage personnel functions, including evaluations, awards, promotions, reductions, incentive pay, and legal actions.
  • Process pay transactions for IDT, Annual Training, and individual orders.
  • Support unit supply operations and property accountability.
  • Conduct inventories and sensitive-item accountability.
  • Maintain required supply records and support ARIMS, CSDP, CMDP, PHYSEC, and CLRT requirements.
  • Maintain personnel and administrative support for more than 27 assigned Soldiers.

  15. Administrative Reduction MFR for over-grade applicants, if applicable
  16. Brigade Command Concurrence for AGR Soldiers with less than three years in their current assignment

Letters of Recommendation are Board/Optional.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must:

  • Be medically deployable.
  • Possess a SECRET security clearance.
  • Meet Army fitness, body composition, and medical retention standards.
  • Have the appropriate military education for grade.
  • Not be flagged or in a Medical Non-Deployable status.
  • Attend all Unit Training Assemblies, Additional Training Assemblies, and Annual Training periods.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Be familiar with IPPS-A, DPRO, DTS, ATIS, RFMSS, and ATRRS.
  • Be willing to travel outside the state for different locations within the state.
  • Possess a valid state driver's license.

QUALIFYING ASVAB SCORE

Minimum CL score: 101
