POSITION SUMMARY

The California Army National Guard is accepting applications for an Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Squad Leader / Training NCO position with the 330th Military Police Company in Ontario, California.

The Training NCO provides full-time support for company-level administrative and training programs to improve overall mobilization readiness. The position advises the Commander and Readiness NCO on individual training and administrative requirements while managing multiple Army personnel, training, travel, medical readiness, and records systems.

WHO MAY APPLY

This position is open statewide to current members of the California Army National Guard in the grades of:

E5(P) – E6

• E5 applicants must be on a current E6 Enlisted Promotion List (EPL).
• Applicants must be able to become 31B MOS qualified within 12 months of hire.
• Applicants must possess the required ASVAB line scores for the MOS.
• The qualifying ASVAB requirement is a minimum ST score of 91.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and administer company administrative and training programs.
• Support overall company mobilization readiness.
• Advise the Commander and Readiness NCO on training and administrative requirements.
• Advise Soldiers regarding military education and training requirements.
• Develop company training schedules using DTMS.
• Process Army school requests through ATRRS.
• Produce duty and travel orders using DAMPS and DTS.
• Complete Soldier management transactions through IPPS-A.
• Conduct record reviews and upload service documents to iPERMS/AHMRR.
• Manage RAPTR requirements during Emergency State Active Duty activations.
• Manage unit medical requirements using MEDCHART and MEDPROS.
• Perform maintenance checks and services on assigned NBCRV and virtual training equipment.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must meet applicable AGR eligibility requirements, including:

• SECRET security clearance
• Current passing Army Fitness Test
• Army body composition standards
• Medical retention and fitness standards
• Appropriate military education for grade
• No disqualifying flags or Medical Non-Deployable status
• No disqualifying disciplinary or integrity issues
• No applicable misdemeanor or felony convictions outlined in AR 601-210
