POSITION SUMMARY

The California Army National Guard is accepting applications for an Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Supply Sergeant position with CO D, 1-184 IN BN in Oakdale, California.

The Supply Sergeant is responsible for the procurement, accountability, storage, maintenance coordination, and movement of equipment and supplies required to support unit mission requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain property book accountability for assigned equipment.
• Monitor the status and serviceability of assigned equipment.
• Procure required supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate equipment calibration requirements.
• Monitor expiration dates for expendable materials.
• Coordinate the repair or replacement of unserviceable equipment.
• Coordinate warehousing, storage, and security of supplies and equipment.
• Arrange transportation of supplies and equipment for mobilization requirements.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are packaged for deployment in accordance with operational requirements.
• Conduct periodic CB equipment inspections.
• Track temporary loans of company equipment to other echelons.
• Prepare logistics readiness status reports as required.
• Issue and process turn-in of individual equipment for Soldiers.
• Assist other unit full-time staff with mission-essential requirements.

WHO MAY APPLY

Applicants must be current on-board California Army National Guard AGR members.

Primary consideration: Current CAARNG AGR Soldiers in the grade of E6.

Current on-board CAARNG AGR E5 Soldiers may also apply, but will only be considered after all eligible E6 lateral applicants have been considered and the applicable CAARNG 92Y3O/E6 AGR Enlisted Promotion List has been exhausted.

Duty MOS qualified applicants are preferred. Non-DMOSQ applicants may submit for consideration but must provide the applicable NDMOSQ ETP endorsed by the Brigade with their lateral application.

REQUIRED APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

Applicants must submit:

1. Last 3 NCOERs
2. Current IPPS-A Soldier Talent Profile (STP)
3. EPS Stabilization ETP, if applicable
4. NDMOSQ ETP, if applicable
5. Brigade Command Concurrence Email or MFR for CAARNG AGR Soldiers with less than three years in their current assignment

Additional stabilization requirements may apply based on the Soldier's current AGR assignment, initial AGR tour, or previous EPS promotion.

IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT

This is an AGR lateral announcement. Applicants must currently be serving as a Title 32 Active Guard Reserve member of the California Army National Guard to apply.
