What You'll Do
Learn the business from the front lines: Spend your first few months working directly with our Member Success team to develop a deep understanding of our members, operational workflows, and the challenges our teams solve every day. This hands-on experience will become the foundation for identifying opportunities to improve the business.
Turn operational problems into scalable solutions: As you build context, you'll take ownership of improving how Member Success operates. You'll identify recurring pain points, analyze data, redesign workflows, document processes, and implement solutions that eliminate manual work and improve the member experience.
Build AI-powered ways of working: We're building an AI-native operations organization. You'll help design and implement AI-enabled workflows using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and other emerging platforms to automate repetitive work, improve decision-making, strengthen knowledge management, and increase team leverage. Curiosity, experimentation, and continuous learning are essential to this role.
Drive operational insights: Use data to understand member behavior and operational performance. Build dashboards, identify trends, surface opportunities, and help leadership make better decisions through actionable analysis rather than intuition alone.
Partner across the business: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Field Operations, and Member Success to ensure operational insights become real improvements. You'll help define business requirements, advocate for operational needs, and support the successful rollout of new tools, workflows, and member experiences.
Own high-impact initiatives: You'll have the opportunity to tackle some of the company's most important operational challenges. Whether improving a process, launching a new workflow, supporting AI adoption, or helping implement new systems, you'll take projects from idea through execution and measure their impact.

What We're Looking For
We're less concerned with checking every box than finding someone who is exceptionally curious, resourceful, and excited to solve difficult operational problems. The strongest candidates will bring many of the following:
2–5 years of experience in Strategy & Operations, Business Operations, Product Operations, Customer Success Operations, consulting, or another fast-paced operational role.
Experience working in startups or other high-growth environments where priorities evolve quickly.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to understand problems and recommend practical solutions.
Demonstrated curiosity around AI and a track record of using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or automation platforms to improve workflows or increase productivity.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong written communication and documentation abilities.
Comfort working cross-functionally with both business and technical teams.
A bias toward ownership - you don't wait to be told what needs fixing.
A willingness to experiment, learn quickly, and continuously improve how work gets done.
Why This Role Is Different
This isn't a traditional operations role. You'll work directly with leadership to help shape how Honey Homes scales its Member Success organization. Rather than maintaining existing processes, you'll help design better ones. You'll have the freedom to experiment with AI, build new operational systems, and solve high-impact business problems that don't yet have obvious answers. If you're excited by startups, energized by ambiguity, and passionate about using AI and operational thinking to build better businesses, we'd love to meet you.

Philip Downs
At Honey Homes, our story is deeply personal. As busy parents of three young boys, we experienced firsthand the challenges of maintaining our home. The endless to-do lists, the difficulty in finding reliable tradespeople, and the time-consuming coordination all added stress to our lives. Not to mention the hidden costs and precious family time taken away.
After an irrigation specialist (rated 5 stars on Yelp!) took a hefty deposit from us and then promptly disappeared, we knew there had to be a better way. We quickly learned that our friends and neighbors agreed whole-heartedly, and so Honey Homes was born.
Our vision is that of a drastically simplified, dare we say - joyful, way to care for your home, where technology and craftsmanship work hand in hand. We pair each household with a dedicated, fully employed, and vetted handyman who manages everything from minor upgrades to routine maintenance tasks—so you don’t have to. Our app assists by making scheduling and communication effortless, giving members peace of mind at every step.
We know your home is so much more than the four walls around you, and believe homeownership should be about making memories in a space you love. However, with home maintenance costs averaging over $6,500 per year and nearly 70% of homeowners feeling overwhelmed by upkeep, it’s clear the traditional model isn’t making this easy. We built Honey Homes to change that.
Our handymen are at the heart of Honey Homes. They are full-time W-2 employees, receiving health benefits, PTO, parental leave, and ongoing professional development. They are throughly vetted for both skill and customer service, and capable of handling a wide range of tasks. Each one only takes on a small group of members, giving them the ability to learn your home and provide the best level of care and guidance.
We are grateful to our nearly 2,000 members for giving us the opportunity and privilege to enter their homes, and invite you to join us in transforming home care from a source of stress into a source of comfort and joy.
