Job Description
Class A Commercial Driver (Local Operations)
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Class A Commercial Driver to support local operations. This role requires strong trailer-handling ability and confidence operating complex commercial setups. Ideal candidates will have experience in agriculture, construction, or heavy-duty hauling and be ready to perform from day one.
Pay Rate: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour (DOE)
Location: Sacramento, CA
Schedule: Standard company scheduling (same structure as Class C roles)
Key Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven, verifiable experience hauling large trailers (e.g., dump trailers, heavy equipment, agricultural trailers)
- Strong trailer operation experience (routine work required — not one-time or rental experience)
- Experience with brake controllers and surge/electric trailer actuators strongly preferred
- Agricultural, farming, or heavy equipment background highly desirable
