As a Security Officer - Tech Park Patrol Driver in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, supporting access control, and providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff and visitors at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards, communicating findings to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives as directed.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and assisting visitors as needed.
• Assist in emergency response activities, following protocols established for the location, and coordinate with first responders if required.
• Complete required documentation and reports related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities, maintaining accurate records for Allied Universal and/or client reference.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
