Position Title: Group Counselor I – Extra Help (Part-Time) Job Description: The Group Counselor I – Extra Help position is responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and supervision of detainees within a juvenile detention facility. Duties include supervising detainees, maintaining living unit standards in accordance with Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) regulations, conducting searches, processing admissions and releases, and applying approved physical or mechanical restraint techniques when necessary.
