Basic Function Under general direction of the Vice President for Finance and Administration, the Chief of Police plans, directs, manages, and oversees the activities and operations of the Bakersfield College Police and College Safety Department at each campus location, including supervision of including sworn and non-sworn personnel, communications dispatch, parking program services, and emergency preparedness programs.
