Overview:
The Prevailing Wage Compliance Specialist is responsible for leading the company’s prevailing wage compliance function across all public works projects. This role ensures adherence to California and federal labor regulations, including certified payroll reporting, apprenticeship requirements, and fringe benefit compliance. The specialist oversees payroll coordination for public works labor, and acts as the primary liaison between Compliance, Payroll, HR, Legal, Operations, and subcontractors.
This position also manages regulatory reporting, supports public works audits, maintains compliance with DIR requirements, and ensures wage determinations, classifications, and training standards are properly applied across projects.
