Annual Salary ($61,021.71 - $81,846.82) PLUS 8% Holiday Pay. The successful candidate is a team-oriented paramedic/firefighter able to demonstrate the ability to function well as a member of an EMS team. This individual must be capable of working in an environment that is ethnically & culturally diverse. The ideal candidate must demonstrate superior knowledge of local, county & state paramedic protocols.
Examples of Duties
Primary duties:
Working at assigned station with one partner on a forty-eight-hour shift.
Provide Basic Life Support and/or Advanced Life Support treatment to victims, in accordance with California State and ICEMA Region Paramedic Scope of Practice.
Performs necessary medical treatment and assists in patient extrication from vehicles involved in traffic collisions or accidents with the assistance of other first responder agencies.
Responds into the back county by foot, vehicle, helicopter or by whatever means...
