Job Summary The Packaging Operator I's responsibilities include production driving (taking pallets from off the line and staging), scrap hauling (making sure all process waste is disposed of properly/supplies raw mats), and pad driving for the production lines (taking pallets to the pad). Other responsibilities include safely operating controls (machinery) to enable stacking/bundling of shingles to be wrapped. Bundles that are being conveyed to the wrapper must meet quality minimum standards. Understanding controls to run machinery to best practice settings is critical to meet efficiency targets. Job Summary We are looking for a Production Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising production shifts as assigned on a rotating basis (6am-2pm; 2pm-10pm; 10pm-6am), including process, packaging, maintenance and yard personnel. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for safety, quality and productivity through direct leadership and coordination of production. Essential Duties Drive productivity and foster continuous improvement through sound management practices including communication of goals, training of operators, and operation of machines within established process specifications, and identification and resolution of production related issues.
