PRIMARY JOB DUTIES Performs radiographic examinations in accordance to established protocols.  Subject to periodic evaluation by Manager for quality control. Assists and instructs patients prior and during examinations. Responsible for evaluating each study to ensure it meets required quality standards. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. Responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment prior to use. Reports to outpatient supervisor equipment failures and/or malfunctions. Reports all patient complaints, discrepancies and drug reactions according to QA policies. Responsible for producing images, burning CD and occasional film printing, organizing paperwork and completing requisition data. At NorthBay Health, the Rad Tech III will report to the Radiology Supervisor and will perform general radiographic studies, fluoroscopic studies, bedside radiography and CT Heads to established QA criteria.   Responsibilities: Completes radiographs, print images, organizes patient data, completes required documentation and charges.   Responsible for patient safety and well being during examinations.   Assists and instructs patients during examinations.   Assists with clerical duties.   Reports all equipment malfunctions.   Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use.
