ABOUT THE POSITION The Health Education Assistant (HEA) assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing Prop 64-funded youth cannabis prevention activities and initiatives through the Friday Night Live program. Coordinates and supports prevention education, youth development, alternative activities, conferences, outreach events, and youth-led projects. Collaborates with schools, community organizations, youth groups, and community partners to facilitate program implementation and provide ongoing technical assistance and support. Prepares educational and outreach materials, presentations, program supplies, and event logistics; collects, enters, tracks, and maintains program participation, demographic, activity, and evaluation data; and administers pre- and post-surveys and other program outcome measures.
