Position Description PUBLIC HEALTH NUTRITIONIST II $6,169 – $8,425 per Month Open Until Filled Priority Screening Date: Monday, August 5, 2024 Exam # 24/50L22/07PH Summary of Position The Health Department’s Public Health (PH) Bureau is seeking to fill a fulltime Public Health Nutritionist II (PHN II) position in the Nutrition Case Management (NCM) program. The Nutrition Case Management program in the Monterey County Health Department Public Health Bureau, provides support to clients and their families who have weight management, chronic disease, and related dietary concerns. As Registered Dieticians, the Public Health Nutritionists II assess clients’ nutritional concerns and needs, and work with their clients to set their personal health goals related to nutrition through home visitation and/or telehealth appointments.
