THE POSITION Under the direction of a Stores Administrator, the Storekeeper for the Logistics Section of the Department of Utilities is responsible for supporting the departments operations and maintenance teams by purchasing, warehousing and distributing parts and equipment needed to maintain and repair the City’s vast water, wastewater and drainage systems. Tasks include, but are not limited to fulfilling purchase requests, creating new inventory items, editing and updating existing inventory item information, performing cycle counts, year-end inventory counts, receiving, and issuing warehouse stock, and assisting with other program areas as requested.
