At NorthBay Health the Armed Security Officer is responsible for promoting a safe healthcare environment by serving as a deterrent to violent behavior and/or criminal activity through their presence and ability to respond to an incident that poses a serious threat of death or great bodily injury. The Armed Security Officer is primarily assigned to the Emergency Department and associated waiting areas.
