The Psychologist applies psychological knowledge and techniques to the assessment and treatment of forensic patients, mostly sexual offenders detained or committed pursuant to California Sexually Violent Predator (SVP) Act; conduct wide range of psychological assessments; facilitate psychotherapy groups and individual therapy; construct case formulations; develop and implement treatment plans; lead multidisciplinary treatment team conferences; write progress reports; assist in developing training programs for other staff; and serve as consultants. Ability to provide accurate and complete reports and documentation in accordance with professional standards, hospital documentation polices, and State guidelines. This position is located in Coalinga. Working Conditions The employee is required to work any shift and schedule in a variety of settings throughout the hospital and may be required to work overtime and float to other work locations as determined by the operational needs of the hospital.
