Description The City of Anaheim Public Works Department-Design Services Section is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable  Assistant Engineer.  The position will perform para-professional and technical engineering work including preparation of plans and specifications, preparation of engineering cost estimates, contract administration, design review; provide customer service with internal and external clients; and provide technical staff assistance to higher level engineering staff. The Public Works Design Services Section has an in-house design team dedicated to the design and preparation of construction documents. The Assistant Engineer will assist in the design of street, sewer, and storm drain improvement projects. It is highly desirable that the incumbent is knowledgeable and has used AutoCAD and Civil 3D software to assist in these projects.
