The Cal OES Interagency Recovery Coordination (IRC) Section is responsible for coordinating short- and long-term recovery efforts and empowering local jurisdictions to drive their own recovery. IRC provides technical assistance to disaster-impacted communities on community preparedness and risk management actions that help reduce long-term vulnerabilities for communities and support community recovery and resiliency.
The Research Data Specialist I (RDS I) positions are in the IRC Branch under the Recovery Support Functions (RSFs) Unit, which supports recovery activities and stakeholder engagement as outlined in the California Disaster Recovery Framework (CDRF).
