The Psychologist applies psychological knowledge and techniques to the assessment and treatment of forensic patients, mostly sexual offenders detained or committed pursuant to California Sexually Violent Predator (SVP) Act; conduct wide range of psychological assessments; facilitate psychotherapy groups and individual therapy; construct case formulations; develop and implement treatment plans; lead multidisciplinary treatment team conferences; write progress reports; assist in developing training programs for other staff; and serve as consultants. Ability to provide accurate and complete reports and documentation in accordance with professional standards, hospital documentation polices, and State guidelines.
