Working Conditions   Position located at 703 B St, Marysville, Yuba County. Multiple positions may be filled from this recruitment. While at their base of operation, employees will work in a climate controlled office under artificial lighting. Incumbent may also be required to travel and work outdoors and may be exposed to dirt, noise, uneven surfaces, and/or extreme heat or cold. Periodic travel is required for fieldwork and training. Incumbent may be required to work overtime and may remain in field locations in rural areas without facilities. This position may be eligible for telework. Description Directs the overall operation of the Engineering Department and/or Capital Projects to ensure projects are conducted on schedule and within budget. This role provides strategic oversight of construction activities, contract execution, risk mitigation, and field coordination for major transit and mobility improvement projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in accordance with agency goals. This role will lead and manage internal staff, construction management consultants, and project delivery teams. The role serves as the primary agency representative in the field, interfacing directly with contractors, designers, regulatory agencies, and jurisdictional stakeholders to resolve issues and drive performance.
