Description Directs the overall operation of the Engineering Department and/or Capital Projects to ensure projects are conducted on schedule and within budget. This role provides strategic oversight of construction activities, contract execution, risk mitigation, and field coordination for major transit and mobility improvement projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in accordance with agency goals. This role will lead and manage internal staff, construction management consultants, and project delivery teams. The role serves as the primary agency representative in the field, interfacing directly with contractors, designers, regulatory agencies, and jurisdictional stakeholders to resolve issues and drive performance.
