DEFINITION
Under supervision, perform a variety of non-sworn law enforcement related job functions, responsibly interact with the public in a wide range of capacities, participate in the City of Clovis Police Department Police Academy Prep Program, and assist law enforcement officers in non-emergency duties as required; and to perform related work as required.
CLASS CHARACTERISTICS
Positions in this class are non-sworn personnel who deliver non-emergency police services for all Police divisions as needed. This classification is designed for career development into the law enforcement field.
