Job Summary The Loader Operator is responsible for efficiently and safely operating a loader with bucket capacities ranging from 4 to 12 cu yards to manage materials within a sales yard or stockpile area. This role involves loading, unloading, and organizing materials such as aggregates, recycling and other construction materials. The operator ensures that materials are properly stored, ready for sale or distribution, and maintains a neat and organized yard environment. Essential Functions • Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. • Requires minimal supervision after the plan for the day has been communicated and can adapt to changing conditions associated with the pit floor and working face. • May assist in training and mentoring less experienced operators.
